Location is everything.

Things to do nearby.

When deciding on a suitable place to staycation, especially when you’re not by the sea, it’s a good idea to do a bit of research to ensure that there are things to do nearby and good places to eat. That is unless of course, you just want to relax and unwind in your own private hideaway, where the silence of the country is all that you need.

Either way, Allington has it all. A truly delightful Lincolnshire village, located close to the boarders of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. Winner of Lincolnshire’s Best Kept Village 2020 competition for the third year, Allington is a great place to visit, and its location makes it a perfect base for exploring.
